Wachovia Names Alicia Laramy Senior Business Manager For Northwest Atlanta

Wachovia has named Alicia Laramy Senior Relationship Manager in the Northwest Atlanta Business Banking Division of Wachovia Bank, N.A.  In this role, Laramy will provide financial solutions to meet the needs of mid-sized businesses and non-profit organizations located in the North Fulton and Cobb County areas.

Laramy is a Senior Vice President and joined Wachovia Bank in 1984.  She has held a variety of sales and leadership positions with the bank in Georgia and Florida.  She most recently served as the Columbus Area President of Wachovia Bank, N.A., for five years.  Previously she was Retail Banking Director for the East Atlanta area. 

Laramy graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia.  She received her Master’s of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University in Atlanta.   

Laramy currently serves as a director on the National Infantry (Museum) Foundation Board of Advisors and the Alumnae Board of Agnes Scott College, is a member of Rotary International and serves on Congressman Lynn Westmoreland’s Banking and Financial Services Advisory Council.  She is a recipient of the Georgia State Conference of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Freedom Award (2008).
