CDE Services, Inc. Invests in New Markets and Customer Service With Key Staff Additions
July 17, 2008
“We are continually reviewing our operations and responding to the needs of our customers,” said Joseph A. Barna, president of CDE. “Our customers and the marketplace are telling us that there’s a need for more repair services and solutions for non-POS equipment, like scanners, printers and other electronic devices that are used in a wide range of industries. Bringing Bob Kurdziel on board strengthens our commitment to these new markets and the addition of Connie Sawyer to our customer service team ensures that we are reaching all accounts with proper customer care and follow-up.”
Bob Kurdziel will focus on providing new product and service offerings to these non-POS markets. Prior to joining CDE, Kurdziel founded Kurdziel & Associates, a management consulting firm devoted to reviewing and improving internal operations, product development, and sales and financial management for professional firms nationwide. He also served as chief executive officer for Risk Management Group, Ltd., where he directed the operations, sales and marketing of the insurance and financial services firm.
Kurdziel was involved in the development of employee services, insurance, and work and life benefit programs as chief operating officer of Benaserv. He continues to serve as managing partner at Beam Wireless, LLC, where he provides strategic, operational and sales direction for private community-wide wireless broadband services.
Building on its platform of providing superior customer service, CDE has added Connie Sawyer to its Customer Support Group. This group is responsible for managing customer calls, fulfilling order requests and processing repairs.
Sawyer has held a number of customer service and administrative positions in her career. She is a graduate of Goldey Beacom College, in Newark, Del., where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
