Atlanta Life Financial Group announces the following appointments and management changes:
 
Atlanta Life Investment Advisors
Drake J. Craig, Principal and Portfolio Manager, Atlanta Life Investment Advisors, adds Chief Operating Officer to his title and duties.
 
Atlanta Life Insurance Company
Leonard P. Grimes, Vice President, Group Reinsurance & Sales, is named Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Atlanta Life Insurance Company.
 
Atlanta Life Financial Group
Leslie E. McCoy, Vice President, Marketing, Atlanta Life Financial Group is named Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, Atlanta Life Financial Group.
 
Jackson Securities

Atlanta Life Financial Group is closing Jackson Securities’ Chicago-based equity execution desk. The Company cites low margins and lack of future growth potential as the reason for its closing. The Company further adds that it will maintain a Chicago presence and its equity clients will continue to be served.
 
Management changes include:

Current Chief Executive Officer, Jackson Securities, Dudley Brown will depart to pursue other business ventures.
 
Reuben R. McDaniel, III, currently President, Jackson Securities, adds Chief Executive Officer to his title and duties.
 
Robert L. Atkins, Vice President, Treasurer, Atlanta Life Financial Group is named Chief Operating Officer, Jackson Securities.
