Cox Radio Announces General Sales Manager Changes In Atlanta Market

Cox Radio, Inc. today announced that Francisco Luciano has been named general sales manager (GSM)
for KISS 104.1 (WALR-FM), effective immediately. Michelle Catolico will be assuming Luciano’s
current role as GSM for 95-5 The Beat (WBTS-FM).
Both will be responsible for the total top line revenue of their respective stations and will
report to Tony Kidd, vice president and general manager for The Beat and Kiss 104.1.
“Francisco led 95-5 The Beat to a record year in 2007, and his leadership and proven track
record will help ensure success as he takes the helm at KISS 104.1,” said Kidd. “ I look
forward to the excitement and passion Michelle will bring to Cox Radio in Atlanta as she continues
95-5 The Beat’s outstanding growth.”
Luciano, a 17-year veteran of radio, was promoted to 95-5 The Beat’s GSM in 2007. He joined
Cox Radio in 2000 as account executive for B98.5 FM and was promoted to local sales manager in
2004. Prior to Cox, he was a regional account executive for Clear Channel Tampa.
A graduate of University of South Florida, Luciano holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising
and public relations.
Well-known and respected within Cox Radio, Catolico comes to 95-5 The Beat after serving as
GSM for 96-9 The Eagle (WJGL-FM) in Jacksonville, Fla. and 99-1 WPLR in
New Haven, Conn. She also worked at 106-1 BLI in Long Island as an Account Manager, Internet
Sales Manager and Local Sales Manager. 96-9 The Eagle, 99-1 WPLR and 106-1 BLI are all owned by Cox
Radio.
She attended Saint John Fisher College where she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
