Community Health Charities Hires Lisa Korade As Director Of Corporate Development For Georgia And Florida
July 31, 2008
Community Health Charities of Georgia (CHCG) is pleased to announce the hiring of Lisa Korade as
Director of Corporate Development for the Georgia and Florida metropolitan markets.
CHCG connects Georgia employees with health and wellness information, volunteer opportunities
and the ability to direct donations to the local health charities of their choice. The only
workplace giving program devoted exclusively to health, CHCG currently provides access to 41
participating health charities throughout Georgia. Ms. Korade will work collaboratively with
local Georgia and Florida affiliates as well as the national headquarters of CHC, located in the
Southeast.
“We partner with some of the state’s most respected employers, but there is tremendous
potential to add more – which ultimately leads to more funding for our health charities and more
help for Georgia employees who are facing a health crisis,” said Brenda Horne, CEO of the Georgia
affiliate. “With 1 of 3 employees personally affected by health issues, the need is greater
than ever. We are delighted to have Lisa join this effort.”
As the former Director of Volunteers at the Joy Foundation of Georgia, Ms. Korade brings a
vast wealth of knowledge to CHC. At the Joy Foundation, she was responsible for recruiting,
training and organizing an 800-person volunteer force and helped raise more than $100,000 annually
from events sponsoring the Foundation’s cause. Her past experience includes other marketing,
fundraising and event coordination roles.
In other news, CHCG recently debuted its new Web site –
www.healthcharities.org/georgia. The site offers many new features,
including health news from the national office of CHC, a complete press release library and
extensive information about Medicare Prescription Access and Social Security. We encourage
all CHCG campaign partners to place a link to our site on their company Intranet, so employees have
24/7 access to the health resources they need.
Georgia employers who want to learn more about CHC can contact Ms. Korade directly at
404-983-5300 or

The local office of the Georgia affiliate can be reached at 770-457-8704 or
