Cool Dog Interactive Launches Affordable Web Site Packages For Faith-Based Organizations
July 10, 2008
More than 70 percent of Americans use the Internet, so it makes sense that many churches and
similar faith-based organizations want an Internet presence to provide valuable information to
current and potential members. However, for some organizations, the cost of developing and
maintaining a professional Web site may prove prohibitive.
To help faith-based organizations overcome these obstacles, Cool Dog Interactive,
an Atlanta-based Web development and content management firm, is now offering two easy-to-use and
affordable Web site options. Two levels of packages are available, and both are tailored to
an organization’s unique needs -- whether it’s a small ministry with less than 200 members or a
nationwide ministry with numerous locations and thousands of supporters.
"Many churches, synagogues and other places of worship don't have the funding or the
specialized knowledge to design and maintain a site," said Roger Brown, president of Cool Dog
Interactive. "In today's on-demand environment, an Internet presence is increasingly
important, and we provide these organizations with simple ways for current and potential members to
access information."
Cool Dog Interactive's basic package for faith-based organizations allows site
administrators to create Web pages that provide current and potential members with news, and
information on events and sermons. For $249 a month and a setup fee of $399, Cool Dog
Interactive will develop and host up to 30 pages of content, such as a calendar of events, contact
us and prayer request forms, and a section for frequently asked questions. Web site
administrators from the organization will have access to the site to update content at any time.
For organizations that want a more robust Web site, Cool Dog Interactive offers a
premium package with up to 60 pages of updateable content for $399 per month and a $399 setup fee.
This option has additional features including a pastor and staff directory, members-only
section, photo galleries and specific pages for each ministry.
"Cool Dog Interactive understands ministry outreach and the importance of online
communication with our existing and potential members," said Gary Bagley, pastor at Hilton
Presbyterian Church. "The site is extremely easy to update and allows us to provide added
value to our members."
