Kerry Armstrong of Duke Realty Elected Chairman

The North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID) announces the following elections to the
Board of Directors: Kerry Armstrong, Senior Vice President of Duke Realty, was named the new
Chairman of the Board; Paul Folger, Associate Director for MetLife’s Real Estate Investment
Department, was elected Vice Chairman.
Armstrong, who previously served as Vice Chairman of the North Fulton CID Board, presided
over his first CID meeting on June 3. Of his new appointment, Armstrong said, “The North Fulton CID
already has a great record of success. It is my goal to help it build and expand upon those
successes. We are committed to making the North Fulton corridor an even better place to live,
work and play. I’m honored to be a part of this exceptional group and to have the opportunity to
help bring about positive changes in our community.”
A graduate of Purdue University, Armstrong is active in numerous civic, educational, and
charitable organizations, including the Atlanta Regional Commission, the Council for Quality
Growth, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, and is a
Trustee of the Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation.
“Kerry’s expertise is a great asset to the CID and will be perfect for our board
leadership,” said Ann Hanlon, Chief Operating Officer of the CID.
Paul Folger brings more than 20 years of real estate development and investment experience –
and a unique knowledge of the Atlanta and North Fulton markets – to his new position as Vice
Chairman.
In addition to serving on the CID board, Folger is also involved in various community
activities. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
